Andrew Qualy, MSW, LICSW, LCSW, is the founder, owner, and sole practitioner of Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC). Andrew is licensed both in the State of Colorado and in the State of Minnesota.
Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) is currently accepting referrals from adults (18 and over) located in the states of Colorado and Minnesota. In addition to all adults 18 and over, FRC specializes in providing care to men 18 and over, veterans, military members, first responders (fire, EMS), and healthcare professionals.
At this time, no. Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) is only offering services via telehealth. As the practice continues to grow, FRC will add in-person services in the future. At present, all services are offered online via telehealth.
Yes. Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) is in-network with a number of insurance providers both in Colorado and in Minnesota. Please visit the Fees page on this website for more information on insurance providers who are in-network.
Included Health (IH), formerly Doctor on Demand, is a nationwide telehealth platform offering a variety of online telehealth services to patients. Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) currently has a contract with IH which enables us to see patients with certain insurances that are currently out-of-network with FRC. Please inquire directly regarding whether you would be able to be seen with an insurance provider that is out-of-network with FRC but in-network through IH.
At present, Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) is not in-network with VA CCN. However, FRC is in the process of networking and credentialing with VA CCN Region 2 (Optum Serve) and VA CCN Region 4 (Tricare/Triwest). The VA CCN networking process is highly complex and time-consuming, and often takes months. All clients will be notified and this website will be updated once FRC is in-network with VA CCN. In the meantime, FRC is able to accept all military members and veterans who wish to seek services either through their own insurance, listed on the Fees page, or on a private-pay basis.
Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) works with clients with a range of mental health-related concerns. Common conditions treated at FRC include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), ADHD, occupational stress, burnout, family and relationship challenges, childhood trauma, abuse recovery, divorce recovery, anger management, TBI, and impulse control. Forge Resilience Counseling utilizes evidence-based treatments which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Illness Management & Recovery (IMR), Interpersonal Therapy, and others which may be tailored to your situation. Andrew also specializes in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a specialized cognitive approach shown to be effective in reducing symptoms associated with PTSD. At this time, no. Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) is not offering EMDR for PTSD and trauma treatment. That said, as FRC grows, this may change. In particular, this is a treatment that may be added in the future, especially once services are offered in person.
Forge Resilience Counseling is an outpatient mental health practice offering counseling and psychotherapy services. FRC does not offer psychiatric care or the prescription of any psychotropic medications, as this is outside the scope of practice for outpatient psychotherapeutic services.
At this time, Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) is not offering any type of group programming. However, as the client census continues to grow, this is something FRC is looking to add on a virtual basis in the near future. Stay tuned for updates.
Forge Resilience Counseling is an outpatient mental health practice offering counseling and psychotherapy services on an outpatient basis. All clients who are experiencing a mental health crisis should call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For all other inquiries, you may send a message directly and securely to your provider and expect a response within one business day.
Headway is a mental health provider platform with whom Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) has contracted to provide the HIPAA-approved telehealth platform and Electronic Health Record (EHR) used by FRC. Headway also provides the scheduling and billing platform used by FRC. When you begin services with FRC, you will receive emails from Headway to get started, upload personal and billing information, and schedule sessions.
All client information is confidential. Forge Resilience Counseling (FRC) is subject and adherent to HIPAA privacy laws in the United States. The only exceptions fall under mandated reporting laws in both Colorado and Minnesota, which pertain to the reporting of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm of children and vulnerable adults, or instances of imminent danger to self or others, which also encompasses Duty to Warn laws. If you are ever concerned about your coverage or ability to pay for services, please bring that up with your provider or send a message. We will discuss your situation and come up with a plan that fits your needs. Sliding scale fees are available on a case-by-case basis. In the worst case, Andrew will assist you with finding and referring you to a therapist who accepts your new insurance, in the event that Forge Resilience Counseling is no longer in network with your new provider.
Yes. You will be charged a late fee for a missed session or a late cancellation under 24 hours. All missed sessions, which include no-shows and sessions cancelled within 24 hours, are subject to a non-negotiable $75 late cancellation/no-show fee. At this time, no. There is not another provider at Forge Resilience Counseling to whom you can be referred. Andrew is the founder, owner, and at present sole proprietor of Forge Resilience Counseling. However, as the practice continues to grow, adding staff members remains very much a possibility.
